Meet Sky

Notes: Notes: Sky's mother was taken from her, a nurse mare, at
one day of age. Sky went through intensive care at the Last Chance
Corral. We adopted her at the Equine Affaire using the silent auction
they offered. The monies we paid for her enabled the LCC to save 7
more foals.

Sky has a special role here at the Sanctuary, and has a powerful
story to share with others. It is hard to believe that she was a
"throw away" foal. Sky is very people oriented since she was hand
raised from literally day one. We continue to teach Sky about not
invading our personal space, and have done small amounts of ground
work with her. It's been a joy to watch her mature, and come into
her own. `
