Pets Name: The Wiggle Butts
Breed: Boxer
Age: 2yrs
Coloring: Brindle
Biography: The Wiggle Butts - I never imagined buying a dog off the internet not until Remington. In July 2007 I was distraught after the death of my little mutt.
I knew my boyfriend loved boxers so a thought occurred to me "I'd get him a puppy, what a great idea for nothing heals a broken heart like puppy breath!" After checking out a couple of breeders and not finding anything that I really liked I looked online, I found a puppy selling site and came across a little runt named Remington. She was the cutest flashy brindle I had ever seen. After a few emails I paid for her with paypal and picked her up a week later. She is everything we ever wanted in a dog -loving, funny, sweet, and smart. She was the best gift I could ever have gotten boyfriend, but she would not be the only on-line doggie for us. After her first birthday we had decided she needed a friend. We began our search on the internet to find another boxer. Or should I say I began our search. My boyfriend liked the idea but of course thought I was crazy, until we found Boss. He was only 1 yr old and he seemed too good to be true. We whisked our boxer to the local shelter to meet the Boss and it was instant friendship so we adopted him on the spot. Today the two do everything together -sleep, wrestle, chew bones, play tug of war and of course bounce all over my boyfriend and I together. We affectionately refer to them as the Wiggle Butts and have noticed the shorter the tail the more the wiggle.

Pets Name: Toto
Breed: Golden Retriever
Age: 9
Coloring: golden yellow
Biography: Toto is our 9 year old golden retirever.
He is The best dog ever. He runs, jumps, and plays
as if he were a puppy. He follows us everywhere
and always goes on adventures with us. We
go to the dog park, nature trails, and other
events wiht him. We enjoy his company
all the time. Here is a short story about
the dog park.
We went to the dog park this summer, and it
was very hot. Right at the edge of the pak, there
was a lake they could swim in. All the owners had
brought something for their dog to fetch, exept us!
Toto ran frantically around until he saw a toy being thrown
through the air for another dog. He then ran as fast as he could,
with all the other dogs to get it. It was like the bouquet at a
wedding! All the dogs wanted that toy. They swam as fast as they
could towards it , and the dog it was thrown for didn't even try to go
after it. Toto got it. He was such a bad boy. He dropped it half way back to shore, and then ironically, no other dogswould go and get it. It just lay there out of human reach. We finally convinced him with astick to go in that direction and retrieve the toy. Everyone was happy, after they tried to get their dogs to get the toy, too. He was all muddy, and afterwards, all the owners chased him until we got the toy back. After that, we went to a pet store to get a water toy! What an adventure.

Friday

Hi! My name is Friday (named after that guy in Robinson Crusoe).
I am one lucky fellow! I was found as a tiny kitten in someone's
front lawn all covered with frost. I think that I remember being
thrown out of a car. The lady who found me took me inside and
gave me a warm bath which really felt great! I was then hustled
off to a foster home where I was examined VERY thoroughly.
I had a little bit of everything. My eyes had been badly infected
for so long that my foster moms didn't think that I had any at all.
I also had a really bad case of ringworm (which I gave to my
foster moms and several other kitties in the house!). The vet had
to shave my body all over (except for my head) so that I could
be medicated properly. I guess that I looked pretty cute with a
furry head and a shaved body! After I received medication, it
became apparent that I did have eyes although they were badly
scarred from being untreated. My next stop was to a specialist
who discovered that, since both of my eyes were so under-
developed, my eyelids had rolled under and my lashes were irritating my eyeballs. This is a condition known as entropia and can be corrected with surgery. My eyes felt a whole lot better after surgery! By that time my foster moms had fallen in love with me and I adopted them permanently. I can see just well enough to distinguish movement and contrasts and to get into all kinds of mischief. I just love going outside and often stay outside all night! I live back a lane in the country and that suits me just fine. I have two doorladies and plenty of good food. Aaaah, the good life!

My beautiful friends, or I call,
"my boys". I love the Labrador breed,
as they match me very well. I am an
outdoor person and they love that too!
Especially swimming, as when this photo
was taken, they had a 4 mile walk along
the beach on Lake Superior. They got lots
of swimming done retrieving sticks! This
photo shows how much they loved the
morning with me and content with life!
They are the love of my life, as they
somehow do replace not having children!

Pets Name: Colin
Breed: Throughbred
Age: 13
Coloring: dark bay
Biography: This is my handsome equine Colin. His registered name is Old Man's Delite and to my surprise, a trace of his pedigree revealed he is the grandson of the 1978 Triple Crown Winner, Affirmed. When Old Man was rescued from Beulah Race Track on October 25, 2008, (he was headed to the Sugarcreek Livestock Auction where he undoubtedly would have been placed in the kill pen), he was found to be very depressed and 300 pounds underweight. It was apparent very little emphasis had been given to his physical needs and emotional well-being (that's pretty much the case with 90% of the horses stabled at this racetrack). After much careful and monitored rehabilitation at a wonderful farm in Delaware, Ohio, Colin has become an incredible equine companion.

Skeezix

Hi! My name is Skeezix (named after an old comic strip character). I am the only survivor of a litter born to a feral mother.

When I was a kitten, I had chronic diarrhea. I spent most of my first year in a cage. My foster moms gave me hundreds of baths. In spite of it all, I was a happy-go-lucky guy. In an effort to solve my unremitting problem, my foster mommies gave me many medications/supplements at their veterinarian’s instructions. My food was sprinkled daily with supplements containing live active cultures to promote intestinal health. The veterinarian who neutered me even implanted feces from a healthy cat into my large intestine, but that didn’t solve my problem. I was taken to the State University where I was diagnosed correctly, but I was put on the same old medication that had not helped me before. As a last resort, my mommies took me to another veterinarian who not only diagnosed my problem correctly, but put me on the correct medication to solve my problem. After some relapses and some more time in a cage, my system is pretty much straightened out.
Today, I am a free man with the run of the house and farm on which I live. Oh, did I mention when I was one-half year old I got a roommate, Friday? Friday is almost blind and had a raging case of ringworm which he gave to me before my moms, who had never seen ringworm before, understood what was going on. Thankfully, Friday and I were treated faithfully and recovered well. Not only am I a handsome fellow as you can see from my photograph, but I also have a wonderful personality. I help my moms socialize the foster kittens they bring into our home, I am a model patient at the veterinary office, I willingly take any medication my moms give me and I am just an all around nice guy. Hope you like my recipe.
