CIRCLE P SANCTUARY CHARITY GOLF SCRAMBLE A BIG SUCCESS! The 2nd Annual Golf Scramble, held at York Golf Club, raised $1700.00 to directly benefit the animals of the Circle P Sanctuary. On Thursday May 27, 2010, six teams of four golfers played in an 18-hole Skins Golf Tournament at the York Golf Club in Columbus, Ohio to raise money for the Circle P Sanctuary. The foursome of Andy Herb, Pat Susie, Drew Smith and Brent Sobczak won first place, as well as two skins. Contests and winners include Longest Drive: Hole 7 (Pat Susie), Closest to the Pin: Hole 16 (Chip Brooks) and Longest Putt: Hole 18 (Andy Nagel). Special thanks: " Eight people donated fabulous prizes that were awarded at the end of this charity event. These donors include Brenda Doner, Independent Travel Agent, Philip and Lynne Petitti, Chris Walker, Tom Curling, Dennis Henderson, Glenn Ross Golf Club, Black Hawk Golf Club and Craig Reynolds. " Eight sponsors supported this charity event. These sponsors include Animal Station, Anthony Lordo, DDS, Paul Fair, Loralie's Baking Company, Pat Reynolds, Friends of Circle P Sanctuary, and Leaver & Petitti Insurance Agency, proudly serving Dublin, Ohio, Brenda Doner, Independent Travel Agent and Merrill Lynch. " York Golf Club, located at 7459 N. High Street, Columbus, OH 43235, provided outstanding service and hospitality for this event. The Circle P Sanctuary strives to provide all necessary medical care for the animals in residence. All proceeds from this fund raiser will be used to pay for spring wellness exams, vaccinations and dental care. We rely solely on donations to care for the animals at the Sanctuary, as we receive no state or government funding.
